It’s not what others applaud you for that authenticates your eternal standing before God.
Authentication comes from having a heart purposed with pure intention and a willingness to pursue God’s divine objective for us; to glorify His name.
Ultimately, we will be judged on the intentions of our heart. Did we seek and desire to look inward or were we like the Pharisees of scripture, too busy justifying our own motives while pointing fingers at others? You can’t hide the intentions of your heart from God.
“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.” Proverbs 21:2
“…For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” Samuel 16:7
LOOK INWARD
We tend to look at what others do, say and profess as a standard of Godly righteousness. Good luck with that on Judgement Day. It is only with God’s help that we can look inward and take note of changes needed to align our heart to the agenda God has purposed for us.
